Daniel Rodriguez has always met challenges head-on. Hard work has always been an integral part of his family’s identity: from transient farmworker to successful attorney to Antarctic ice marathoner, there isn’t much Daniel cannot do. His mantra of “work hard with integrity,” has brought him the true American Dream, a gift he says he owes to the struggles that defined his character and helped shape his future.

Throughout his education and career, hard work, determination, and dedication to the community have earned him immense respect and admiration among colleagues and the public alike. His court case count of over 150 trials speaks to his commitment to seeking justice for those who need it most and his resolve to not back down to corporate Goliaths.
Daniel’s skills as a trial lawyer have earned him much notoriety over the years including selection to Super Lawyers® every year since 2009, and is a member of The National Trial Lawyers, an invitation-only group composed of the premier trial lawyers from across the United States. He was selected for a teaching position at Gerry Spence’s Trial Lawyers College in 2009. He currently teaches an annual 3-week Gerry Spence Method course at Thunderhead Ranch and was the first recipient of the Gerry Spence Trial Warrior of the Year Award. Widely regarded as the best trial advocacy school in the country, Daniel is proud of his impact to help mold the next generation of trial lawyers.
It is not only his skills in the courtroom that have made an impact. Daniel’s integrity has led him to become the face of the American dream for the Hispanic community of Bakersfield, California. Widely recognized and respected for his service and contributions to the community, the public knows they can count on Daniel’s firm to meet their needs with honesty, respect, and true determination.

At 70, Daniel’s life has been full of adventure. Physical strength and endurance are just as important to him as perseverance against stubborn defendants. A marathon runner for many years, Daniel pushed himself to complete the 16th Annual Antarctic Ice Marathon in 2021, testing his physical and mental grit and strength. His passion for life and living well are represented in the relationships he has built with family and friends, and his pursuits outside of the office.

Daniel has grown his practice and his firm in order to help more individuals and families than ever before. In the last year, his team has added two additional attorneys and has broadened its reach to serve more areas of California, especially within the Spanish-speaking communities. A leader and innovator in the field of personal injury law, Daniel is always looking for new and collaborative efforts to share his gifts with the world.
