His practice covers a wide range of complex personal injury matters, including major trucking accidents, multi-party car collisions, catastrophic injuries, and wrongful death claims.

A Bakersfield native, Joseph comes from a family with a long history of legal professionals. His grandfather served as a Kern County Superior Court Judge, and his father is a practicing attorney in Bakersfield. Both of them instilled in him a lifelong respect for justice, integrity, and service. These are the same values Joseph seeks in his own legal career, and the values that attracted him to Rodriguez & Associates. He is particularly inspired by the impact and legacy Daniel Rodriguez brings to the firm and the community, exemplifying a high standard of excellence apparent in his daily work and his vision for the firm.

Joseph’s approach to personal injury law is deeply personal. He takes the time to understand the full scope of how an injury has impacted a client’s life, physically, emotionally, and financially. Throughout it all, he has successfully recovered millions of dollars for families facing some of the most challenging moments of their lives.
Joseph shares that one of the most powerful cases he was part of was a $5 million verdict for an injured client in a case where the defence denied liability at every turn. The Rodriguez & Associates trial team refused to back down, spending months digging into records, working with experts, and building the evidence needed to overcome those denials and secure justice. To Joseph, the energy and time invested in this case reflect the kind of relentless work it takes to change the trajectory of a client’s life and the spirit of the firm.
“One of the things I’m most proud of,” Joseph reflects, “is having the opportunity to serve people in my own community, in the city where I was raised, with a firm whose values align so closely with my own. From a young age, I saw how the law could be used to protect and uplift others. That’s what drew me in and what still drives me today.”
A graduate of the prestigious Trial Lawyers College, Joseph is a firm believer in the power of storytelling and connection in the courtroom. His success is rooted in strong communication, thorough preparation, and the trust he builds with each client.

As a partner, Joseph also plays an integral role in mentoring newer attorneys and shaping the firm’s strategic direction. He credits his own professional growth to the mentorship of firm founder Daniel Rodriguez.
Joseph also serves on the Board of Directors for the Friends of Mercy Foundation, supporting the work of local hospitals. Whether inside the courtroom or out in the community, his commitment to service runs deep.
