Chantal Trujillo, senior partner at Rodriguez & Associates, is a dedicated member of the firm’s trial team, recognized for her unwavering determination to pursue justice for every client she represents. Constantly striving to excel on behalf of the firm and her clients, Chantal possesses the natural ability to connect with others, understanding that in her line of work, trust and empathy are just as essential traits as tenacity and drive.

With over a decade of experience in personal injury law, Chantal Trujillo represents individuals and families in some of Bakersfield’s most challenging and complex trial cases ranging from wrongful death to school violence and child abuse. These cases are extremely sensitive by nature, and working with minors requires Chantal to provide a specialized level of attention to the emotional needs of her clients.

Hardworking and compassionate, Chantal takes the time to meet each client where they are, helping them understand the entire civil litigation process, assuaging their concerns, and offering her support and confidence. In the same way Chantal shows care and empathy for her clients, she is a force in the courtroom, tenaciously seeking fair and just resolutions for those who have been wronged.

Chantal’s efforts and diligence have contributed greatly to her success as a trial attorney including her recognition in the 2023 and 2024 editions of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America and her instrumental role in numerous notable trial verdicts in Kern County. In 2022, Chantal was part of the trial team recognized by the Daily Journal’s Top Verdicts List and TopVerdict.com for obtaining the largest personal injury verdict in Kern County history.

A Bakersfield-area native, Chantal graduated from Centennial High School in 2004. Eager to learn more about the world and experience life in another state, she left California to explore, choosing Texas to pursue and continue her education. After obtaining her J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio Chantal returned home to be closer to family. She is proud to serve the community that supported her from the beginning and seeks opportunities to give back to local organizations including Dreams & Hope for Children, which provides educational supplies to school-aged children of Kern County, and Clear the Shelters, a non-profit organization helping to find forever homes for animals in need.

Chantal is naturally able to connect with others, building lasting relationships with clients and peers alike. She is a testament to the environment that Rodriguez & Associates has developed to serve the people of Bakersfield and beyond. When not at the office, Chantal enjoys spending time with her husband, running, music festivals, watching MMA, and hanging with her dog, Beaufort.
